Tuina And Acupressure Session

Originating around 1700 B.C., tuina (pronounced tooe-na) is the second branch
of Traditional Chinese Medicine. A complete healing system in itself, it is traditionally used alongside acupuncture and herbal medicine. Tuina works on muscle
groups, joints, circulation, and the same meridians and points used in acupuncture.

Michelle practices a northern California style of tuina, passed down by Master Tsuei and Brian O'Dea. This style incorporates rhythmic compression, range of motion, and acupressure.

Plant-Based Herbal wellness consultations

Herbal medicine is a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I specialize in herbal medicine from several traditions, including Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and western herbalism. All formulas are plant-based, no animal products are used.

Herbal medicine consultations are offered as part of your tuina and acupressure session. Consultations are also available online, for a separate fee. To get started you will fill out a short assessment, so I can understand the underlying patterns affecting your health. Follow-up visits are critical to monitor your progress and to be able to make any necessary adjustments to formulas as your body's needs changes.

Herbs are paid for separately, and can be re-ordered anytime without a consultation fee for up to a year. The average monthly costs of herbs ranges from about $25-50.
